 R.E.M. is BACK
Not sure if there are other R.E.M. fans here but I've been a fan of theirs pretty much since they hit the airwaves in the early/mid 80s. Well, the Accelerate album is awesome and seeing them live at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado last week was surreal.
They are back with a vengeance, Michael Stipe still has talent that puts the majority of modern (2000s) era "start ups" to shame, Mike Mills is still the best back up singer and bassists in the business and Peter Buck still rocks on the guitar.
In short, if you're a fan and you get a chance to see them, do it. If you haven't picked up Accelerate, check it out.
Anyhow, that's my triviality contribution for now.
Maybe I'll provide a brief review on the Stone Temple Pilots if I decide to see them in July at the same venue.
Later, Scott

 Re: R.E.M. is BACK
I believe you 100%. I was trying to be clever and use the name of the song to describe the music in the album. Like I was saying the music was supernatural and at the same time superserious.

You know what's funny, after I posted and went to get a sandwich I was thinking "I wonder if meant to play the words..." You got me, I retract my previous sarcasm. Scott
