You may as well have used the word "fogpie." Yes, fogpie ideas are reprehensible. I join you in condemning anyone whose rhetoric smacks of fogpie influence.

Much to my surprise, the word "fogpie" does not appear to be in use in any significant context. It also has the ".com" benefits of being short, easy to convey verbally, and hard to misspell. It also is slightly amusing (to me).

Naturally, I have therefore registered http://www.fogpie.com. What on earth am I to do with it?

I have a proposal for a defintion and a use for the website:

fog·pie (n.)

1. An idea or group of ideas intending to sound substantial, but upon further investigation is rather meaningless or empty
2. Collective description for the content of a filibuster which is intended only to take up time and not to persuade anyone of anything
3. A statement that appears desireable while simultaneously causing confusion and/or great disorientation.

I've taken the simple approach of imagining what a "fogpie" might look like or do. Literally, a fogpie is useful and delicious (pie) while being cloudy and unsubstantial (fog). As a metaphor for a debating technique, I think this defintion fits nicely with how you've used it already.

As for the website, you could start simply try to start a meme. Post my definition on the page and google bomb whenever you feel like it.

Cool.

Aparently, purposely creating memes isn't new, nor is it usually successful. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
