Our approach to publishing

EDITORIAL POLICY · UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2, 2026

Clear distinctions make more honest conversations possible.

What this site publishes

Differ Honestly covers spirituality, relationships and self-understanding. It includes personal perspectives and an older archive alongside newer educational articles. It is not a clinical publication, and publication does not mean that an article has undergone professional medical or scientific review.

Distinguish the kind of claim

  • Personal experience: an account of what someone felt or understood, not proof that everyone will experience the same thing.
  • Spiritual interpretation: a belief-based or symbolic explanation, not an established diagnosis or guaranteed prediction.
  • Checkable information: a factual claim that should be supported by relevant, identifiable evidence.
  • Commercial description: information about a provider or offer that needs current verification and a clear account of any affiliate relationship.

Sources and limits

For factual health, safety or legal points, original research, public agencies and appropriate professional sources are preferable to repeating another marketing page. A citation should support the specific claim beside it. Research about one practice should not be presented as proof for an unrelated one.

No invented authority

Author names and biographies are not substitutes for verified qualifications. We should not present fictional credentials, fabricated testimonials, unsupported accuracy rates, or unverified awards as evidence. Reader comments are opinions, not verified accounts of service quality or treatment results.

AI and editorial responsibility

AI-assisted tools may be used in preparing or maintaining content and artwork. Generated illustrations are not evidence that a scene occurred or that a depicted person is a member of staff. AI output can be mistaken; its use does not establish factual accuracy or expert review. This policy does not claim that every historical article or comment has been individually audited.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate incentives must be considered when assessing recommendations. See our Affiliate Disclosure. Do not interpret a comparison as hands-on testing unless its methods and scope are actually described.

Corrections and older articles

Send a correction request with the article link, exact passage and a source or explanation. A clear request makes it easier to assess whether a factual correction, qualification or clarification is needed. Older articles remain part of the archive and should be read with attention to their dates. We do not claim a fixed review timetable or guarantee a response deadline.

Conversation standards

Disagreement is welcome; abuse, spam and disclosure of someone else’s private details are not. Comments should not diagnose strangers, pressure people into purchases or portray a spiritual reading as a substitute for professional care.
